The deacon's parish

Since the spring we go to the early Qurbana at the cathedral and sit in the same place on the left side, by the pillar, where the deacon can see Eldiyar. The deacon's name is Denha, he is very young, from the seminary on the hill, and he reads in a clear voice, not fast. He gave Aruuke a small candle at Easter and now she calls him "the candle man."
Our family has chosen a place. It is a good thing to have in a lane full of changes.
