The list

For the people who ask. A list of reasons to stay: my mother. The nurses. The old man with the bag of pills, who still comes. The night sky over the Diagnostic Center. The tea.

A list of reasons to go: the same salary I have, but three times. Time to sleep. A real holiday, the first since 2013. The possibility to buy my father a hat every winter.

Both lists are true. I think this is what adult life is.
