joined the photo club at the university. nine members, two real cameras, one tripod that falls over if you breathe. the leader is a quiet older student who shows us one photograph at every meeting and says nothing about it, just "look".

today's photograph: a man's back in a doorway, a cap, a long shadow. i looked for forty minutes. i still don't know what it said. i love it.
