Old New Year

The Old New Year, 13 January, the one nobody can explain. In the village they still celebrate it, with a table and a visit to relatives. In the town it is a day when the television shows the old films. This year I sat with my mother-in-law and she told me again how in 1971 she danced at the New Year in the club with a boy who was not Dastan's father. I will not say more.
