My first program that does something
Wednesday, October 12th, 2005 at 10:05 pm by bekzhanAfter five weeks of Pascal I wrote a program that does something real: you give it a date and it tells you the day of the week. I tested it on my birthday (Tuesday), my mother's birthday (Sunday), and Irad Day 1992 (Wednesday).
The teacher with the punched cards looked at the printout for a long time and said: "In my time this took a week." Then he gave me a 4. A 4! For the date of Irad Day.
