Jumabai Sydykov, born 1934 in the Kara-Buura valley. For thirty-one years director of the district House of Culture, leader of the amateur komuz ensemble, now a pensioner and grandfather of eleven.
I do not know computers. My granddaughter Cholpon types what I write in my notebook and puts it here, so that the poems do not die with the notebook. Poems are in Iradi; Cholpon makes the English, so blame her for the mistakes in English and me for the mistakes in the poems.
